Salford Children’s Holiday Camp

Salford Children’s Holiday Camp was established in Prestatyn, North Wales in 1926. Since then it has provided a holiday home to over 80,000 Salford children from all walks of life!

Salford schools and groups always have priority booking up until October of the previous seasonal year but any dates left after this period can be booked by schools and groups from outside of Salford.


What is at the camp?

The camp includes two dormitories (24 & 36 beds), a community room, dining area (pack lunches available) and a games room (with pool tables, football table and table tennis). The dormitories have showers, toilets and wash areas. All bedding is provided. A warden is always on site.


What fun stuff is there to do?

A playground with swings, a sandpit, and climbing frame as well as a picnic area, BBQ, covered play area, direct access to the beach and football goals.
